We at COI are honored to have been a part of InnoCarnival 2024, a remarkable nine-day event that concluded successfully on November 3, 2024. This year, the carnival attracted over 240,000 visitors both on-site and online, a testament to the growing interest in innovation and technology in Hong Kong. Organized by the Innovation and Technology Commission and The Hong Kong Science Park Corporation, InnoCarnival 2024 was a key event in celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Our participation at InnoCarnival 2024 included a dedicated panel in the exhibition zone, where all the InnoHK centres were present. This platform allowed us to showcase our work and engage with the younger generation, helping them understand the landscape of biotechnology in Hong Kong. It was a unique opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to advancing cancer therapy and contributing to Hong Kong's status as an innovative research hub.
Our COI team had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mr. Albert Wong, CEO of HKSTP, during the event. The event featured a diverse range of exhibitions, workshops, online seminars, interactive games, and photo opportunities. These activities were particularly well-received by young adults and children, igniting their curiosity and passion for innovation and technology.
Being part of InnoCarnival 2024 was not just an honor but also a significant milestone for COI. It reinforced our dedication to fostering innovation and inspiring the next generation of scientists and researchers. We look forward to continuing our journey towards a brighter, more innovative future.
