Jointly organized by the Centre for Oncology and Immunology and HKUMed – The University of Hong Kong, the Croucher Summer Course in Immunology was concluded with great success on 1 Aug.
It was our absolute pleasure to have Prof. CS Lau, Dean of Medicine of HKU, and Prof. Tak Mak, Co-Director (Scientific) of the Centre for Oncology and Immunology, to be the course directors. Together with 9 distinguished international immunology experts as the course lecturers, the one-day course featured a comprehensive programme under the theme of immunology, which covered topics such as T-cell therapy, B-cell biology, and Immune microenvironment.
We were thrilled to hear so many profound and thought-provoking discussions among the 40 selected participants in the Q&A sessions. The interactive discussions were truly enlightening, where young scientists had the opportunities to learn and interact with world-renowned international experts.
